Narayani Bhattarai is a development worker and social activist. Bhattarai co-edited Chichila, a monthly magazine for children from 1998 to 2001. She has also worked as a freelance journalist for 5 years reporting for Hakahaki, a development magazine, Nepalbani weekly and also wrote features for Nepal Samacharpatra Daily, Gorkhapatra Daily, and others. She is currently working as a manager in Namuna Cooperative.
